It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year (to Maintain Your Health and Fitness)

The holiday season has begun and for some it can be a struggle to try and fit in your workouts on top of all the parties and shopping and other commitments. But there’s no reason you have to allow the holidays to alter your commitment to your health and fitness.

Here are a few ways to stay on track this holiday season.

1. Consistency

Commit to doing some form of exercise most days of the week. It doesn't matter what it is, just move your body.

2. Fuel your body

Get at least 8 glasses of water in a day, Eat a variety of fruits and veggies and a good balance of Protein, Carbohydrates, and Fats.

3. Manage your stress

The holiday's should be a happy time so enjoy them. Practice some deep breathing and get plenty of sleep.

4. Variety

Try something new. Try a new group exercise class or have your trainer design a new program for you.

5. Grab a buddy

Inspire someone to join you in your commitment to staying healthy and fit this holiday season.
